The 2168 (Yeadon) Air Training Corps were at RAF Scampton when the picture was taken. The image was donated to Aireborough Historical Society by Paul Greenwood.

Ilkley couple accused of food hoarding. Examination of the defendants premises disclosed 30 lbs. of sugar, 5 stones of flour,16 lbs. of bacon, 11lbs. of lard, 26lbs. of jam, 9 lbs. of honey and 6 lbs. of tea.
Annual report to licensing magistrates-- less drunkenness was reported in the Otley division which covers Ilkley.
