IT was like a pyjama party gone mad when the Stepping Stones Dance Group appeared at Ben Rhydding in June 1998.
The group were performing at the parish church fete.
Two Peacock Inns are shown in the second photograph which was taken in Yeadon in around 1935.
The picture, from the archives of Aireborough Historical Society, shows the construction of the new Peacock Inn taking place at the same time as the demolition of the old Peacock, on Harrogate Road.
Archivist Carlo Harrison said: "Many people remember Terry and Claire Turp who used to run the pub and the Wallis family who used to perform there on a Sunday night and also performed on The Good Old Days at The City Varieties.
"In 1822 the landlord was John Sugden, the Inn was closed in 1935 and was replaced by a new 'Peacock' on the same site.
This has also been demolished and apartments built on the land."
