New M & S foor store to open in Ilkley next week
RETAIL giant Marks & Spencer will open its brand-new Simply Food store at Station Plaza in Ilkley, next Wednesday (April 2) bringing 50 jobs to the town.
The store will open at 10am with live music and the chance for customers to win a share of £1,000 worth of M&S Gift Cards.
The new 6,600 sq ft store will stock more than 2,000 food products including ready meals, fresh produce, sandwiches, salads and snacks, as well as wines and champagne.
Along with the wide assortment of food and drink, the Ilkley Simply Food store will offer greetings cards and wrap, freshly cut flowers and potted plants, newspapers and magazines.
Tom Stephen, Ilkley Marks & Spencer Simply Food, Store Manager, said: "It's great to be opening a new Simply Food store in Ilkley, providing our customers with the very best of M&S food and drink in such a convenient location.
"We have an excellent team in place and are really looking forward to opening our fantastic new store. We have many dedicated customers in the area and hope that our quality products, combined with convenient opening hours, will be a big hit with them."
