CROMPTON George Brian Passed away peacefully at St James Hospital, on the August 3, 2017, aged 94 years. Will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. The funeral service will be held at Yeadon Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 12 noon. By request no black to be worn, bright colours please. Family flowers only. Will friends please accept this intimation.

I am unfortunately on holiday so will sadly miss the funeral. I learnt so much from George about teaching and much more when I taught at Rawdon . He was not only a font of knowledge but was also kind generous and humorous. His ex pupils that I have communicated with remember him with great fondness . Along with David,Tricia and Sylvia, George was an important part of my working life,a true gentleman. John Coates
