1st Burley Brownies are again running the Bookmark Project which raises money for Katiyo Primary School in Zimbabwe by auctioning online bookmarks doodled by authors, illustrators and celebrities.

Over the past eight years their charity project has raised £50,000 for the school. This year's auction has a record 600 plus bookmarks which are all available to bid on.

The celebrities, authors and illustrators taking part include Joanna Lumley, Steve Pemberton, Neil Morrisey, Jo Brand, Alex Horne, Craig Revel Horwood, Jane Asher, Penelope Wilton, Lee Mack, Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Emily Gravett, Rebecca Cobb and many more.

All the money raised by the auction goes to support projects at Katiyo Primary School in Zimbabwe where the Brownies are currently funding the building of two nursery classrooms with the shell of the building almost complete.
